About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to join its Executive Team. The CPO will be responsible for the operations of a comprehensive array of programs, ensuring that they meet the needs of the community and the requirements of funders and partners. This role involves leadership, planning, and management, including the development and implementation of program and division workplans and budgets, as well as the evaluation of program effectiveness. The CPO will also be involved in fostering communication and cooperation, both within the organization and with external stakeholders. Candidates for the CPO position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 8 years of progressive programmatic and operational management experience. Direct experience working with tribal organizations and/or with state and federal agencies is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of program planning, budgeting, and administrative support functions, as well as knowledge of strategic planning, organizational development, and programmatic data analysis. Proficiency in digital project management and a strong background in community engagement are also essential. The CPO must be a strong leader, with the ability to foster teamwork, make strategic decisions, and effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
