Job Title: Medical Device Assembly Technician
Job Description
Join our team in the manufacturing of medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality standards in medical device production.
Responsibilities
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
Complete training successfully on production tasks and understand travelers/routers, material identification, microscope usage, and production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.
Operate tools and equipment and complete documentation as required.
Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.
Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality.
Assist Engineers in developing process documentation.
Conduct inventory counts.
Perform additional duties as assigned based on verbal instructions.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing/production environment or prototyping.
Prior microscope and medical assembly experience.
Experience in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to understand and perform in-process inspections to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing catheter products is a plus.
Experience working with adhesives (different Loctite), EFD dispensers, and UV curing systems.
Strong communication skills.

Work Environment
This position offers 10 openings on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:45pm. You will be working in a cleanroom environment with all necessary safety equipment provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.35/hr.
