Order Entry Specialist
Job Description
The Order Entry Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth processing and tracking of customer parts orders. This position involves entering purchase orders into the ERP system, Syteline, and performing follow-ups with customers as needed. The role is essential in managing orders through the plant, attending weekly meetings for effective communication, and contributing to the company's growth by improving both internal and external communication.
Responsibilities
Enter purchase orders into the ERP system, Syteline, and follow-up with customers periodically or upon request.
Manage customer parts orders to ensure they flow through the plant without issues.
Attend weekly meetings to facilitate information sharing throughout the plant.
Contribute to the company's growth by enhancing communication strategies both internally and externally.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in order entry.
Experience using an ERP system.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to interact with the entire team, including owners, managers, and shop floor employees.

Work Environment
This role is 100% in-office, operating Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. The position is primarily based in an office setting but requires occasional visits to the shop floor to communicate with production team members and understand the progress of orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
