Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant who is committed to providing exceptional patient care. You will be pivotal in preparing patients for examinations and treatments, assisting in procedures, and ensuring a supportive environment for patient recovery.

• Prepare patients by taking histories and vital signs.
• Set up exam rooms with necessary instruments and ensure proper sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with laboratory tests and phlebotomy.
• Support physicians with splinting, dressing, and bandaging.
• Coordinate patient follow-ups and manage referrals.
• Assist with workplace physicals and injury management.
• Screen calls for referrals to practitioners.

You Should Have:

• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is beneficial.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is advantageous.
• Able to obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certificate and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of employment.
