What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the protection of people and property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, focusing on maintaining a secure environment within the financial institution.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, promptly documenting and communicating findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff in emergency response activities, following established protocols and procedures.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on duty, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
