As a Security Officer - Hotel Unarmed Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in hotel and resort environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises, including guest areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with individuals on-site and document observations and/or incidents according to Allied Universal procedures.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
