Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with a current CA license and strong airway and anesthesia recovery skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the PACU unit within a hospital setting
• 8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Care for patients recovering from anesthesia and manage post-op pain
• Assignment includes duties in pre-op and extended care units as needed
• Float to other campuses may be required
• May provide care in both preoperative and extended care units in addition to PACU
• Must be comfortable working with a variety of surgical cases and managing complex patient needs
• Must be willing to float to other campuses as needed during the assignment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active CA RN license
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Experience in airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
• Preferred: CCRN or CPAN certification
• Preferred: 2 years of critical care experience
