We provide comprehensive primary care services for cats and dogs throughout Troy and the greater Dayton area. You’ll collaborate closely with medical leadership to support a thriving, client-focused hospital where both people and pets feel cared for and valued. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position, enjoys problem-solving, and can foster an environment of accountability, teamwork, and growth. Your Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the hospital’s “Integrator,” helping to translate vision into action through clear priorities and accountability
  • Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of veterinary professionals
  • Manage day-to-day business operations including HR, finance, and inventory
  • Collaborate with Pathway Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Analyze KPIs to identify trends, solve problems, and drive performance
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, communication, and care
  • Coordinate and lead regular staff meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain safety protocols, software systems, and facility standards
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coach teams across various levels
  • Financial acumen including budgeting and P&L analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy and respect for clients, staff, and animals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
  • Preferred : Experience managing a veterinary hospital
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree in business or related field
